KV Vijayendra Prasad, who has scripted Kangana Ranaut s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, has penned a revenge drama for Shah Rukh Khan. Yes, you heard it right. After writing Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan for Prabhas and Salman Khan respectively, Vijayendra is now keen to work with the Bollywood's King of Romance, Shah Rukh Khan. According to a report in DNA, he has approached Shah Rukh with the script of a revenge drama.
A source, in a statement to the portal, said, "He has written the story keeping SRK in mind. The two recently had a meeting in Mumbai. Prasad flew down from Hyderabad and narrated the story to Shah Rukh." However, SRK, who is currently busy with Aanand L Rai s Zero, where the actor will be seen essaying the role of a dwarf, is yet to say 'yes' to the movie. The source further added, "He met Prasad, but he is yet to take a call on the film. He will wrap up Zero before announcing his next project. He s still deciding which one to pick."
Meanwhile, Vijayendra has been roped in to script the sequels to 2001 blockbuster Nayak (which was helmed by Shankar, starring Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji in lead roles) and Akshay Kumar - Sonakshi Sinha starrer Rowdy Rathore. Reportedly, Vijayendra had also approached Ajay Devgn for a period film, but the actor had turned down the offer.
Just like Vijayendra's other films, this revenge drama too is expected to be mounted on a humongous scale. Reportedly, the untitled film is a revenge saga, with lots of drama and action.
