In the scramble that the pandemic created, I came up with the opportunity & pleasure of training with the legendary BJJ black belt, Mark Cerrone.

As discussed here, Mark opened his first academy in Connecticut in 2007, his second in Naples, FL earlier this year, and he was teaching at Renzo's flagship school in Midtown Manhattan....he's one of the few people I know busier than me.

What inspires me the most about Mark, though, is his passion. His energy is next level, and you can feel it every time you talk to him. After class one day he was describing to me the app he's using for his schools - he excitement was like a boy getting a new bike!

If you ever get to work with Mark, you'll find that excitement in everything he does. He's a venerable walking history of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu on the East Coast (we need another 3 hour show just on that!), and his instruction is some of the best you'll find. Beyond that, Mark also has the highest level of business acumen, as is evident in the way he describes how he runs his schools & marketing - and most importantly - how he treats his students. OSS!!
