Serves: 2-3
Bread – 6 slices (stale works best)
Eggs – 2
Brown Sugar – 2 Tbsp
Cinnamon Powder – ½ Tsp
Salt – 1/8 Tsp
Milk – 2 Cups
Vanilla Essence – ½ Tsp
Melted Butter – 2 Tbsp
Dried Cranberries – ½ Cup
Walnuts – ½ Cup
Apple/Pear – 1 Cup
*Notes*
- Great way to use up all the stale leftover bread!!
- Feel free to use any kind of dried or fresh fruits and nuts that you like😊
- If brown sugar is not available then white sugar will work just fine
- The amount of sugar can be varied according to your taste
- If you want to skip the butter then you can! Make it fat-free😉
- For convenience prepare it the night before and store in the refrigerator. In the morning just bake the overnight french toast! Enjoy a quick and, did I mention, healthy breakfast!
- You will know that it’s done when a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
