The suspect in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson remains unidentified and at large after three days.
Surveillance footage captured the suspect arriving in New York City by bus on November 24th from Atlanta via Washington, D.C.
Investigators believe the suspect left the city by bus on the day of the shooting.
Police have obtained video footage of the suspect in various locations, including the subway, taxis, and a McDonald's, where he paid with cash and kept his face mask on.
A surveillance image without the mask was captured when the suspect checked into a hostel using a fake New Jersey license.
The suspect fatally shot Thompson outside the Hilton Hotel on December 4th, using a gun with words written on the shell casings: "deny," "defend," and "depose."
Investigators are examining potential links between the shooter's actions and anger at the insurance industry.
DNA and fingerprint evidence has been collected and is being analyzed.
The suspect fled the scene on foot and then on a bicycle, disappearing into Central Park.
UnitedHealth Group expressed grief and thanked people for their support while prioritizing the safety of its employees and justice for Thompson's family.
