A judge once shared a story about a man who passed away, leaving behind millions but no close family. After some searching, they found distant cousins who inherited about 50 million each.

The judge asked them to give just 100,000 each to build a Sadaqah Jariyah; a masjid or charity project in the man’s name.

Their responses?
One said, “In Sha Allah, I’ll think about it.”
Another said, “I have debts and kids to take care of.”
And the most shocking? “If he cared about that, he would’ve done it himself.”

The lesson? Don’t wait for others to give on your behalf after you’re gone. If you want Sadaqah Jariyah, do it now. Build your legacy while you’re alive and able because no one will care more about your Akhirah than you!
