What is an Ell? Well and Ell was an early form of measurement, It came from the latin for arm 'ulna' and was assumed to be the average length of a person's arm.

Ell was probably understood as a cubit, and an ancient cubit to the Hebrews was roughly 18 inches.

So, 3000 Ell would be 4,333 feet.

The tallest building in the world is only 2717 feet, so a Nephilim would be twice the size.
