STORYLINE:
Thousands of angry mourners packed the streets of the West Bank city of Nablus on Saturday for the funerals of four Palestinians killed during an Israeli raid on a Hamas hideout.
Masked gunmen from Palestinian militant groups fired in the air, while mourners chanted slogans demanding revenge against the Israeli raid.
Israel says it will continue with raids such as that on Friday, which targeted two Hamas militants.
The Israeli government also accuses the Palestinian Authority of not cracking down on militant groups.
Palestinian groups, meanwhile, accuse Israel of breaking a month-long ceasefire.
In his besieged compound in Ramallah, in the West Bank, Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat said Israel was not only impinging on the fragile month-old ceasefire, but was putting the US-sponsored peace process, known as the road map, in jeopardy.
An Israeli soldier was also killed in Friday's raid on Nablus
