What i did was i soldered an old usb cable to an audio jack i had laying around, then put some hot glue around it to relieve tension that is generated in flight. The camera does not use up a lot of battery, 900mah lasts 1.5 hours so for 10 minutes of flying, which means it is using up 1/9 x 900mah, which is 100mah, and 100mah is split among the 2 cells, which resutllts in 50mah per cell, and the reduces my 2200mah battery to 2150mah, and the slight extra a bit more, but not as much as what it would do if your camera had a battery in it, this is also handy if you are down to the last battery for your action camera and don't want to waste it for flying, this can also be used to charge your camera while recording.
