The Supreme Court on Friday ordered the Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) to deposit Rs 1 crore to refund homebuyers in Supertech's Noida twin towers, which are set to be demolished.
“We have heard all parties. It has been agreed that, there will be joint meeting in October between him and developer to ascertain how the money will be arranged. It is submitted that time schedule be laid down for repayment of homebuyers. We direct the IRP to deposit Rs 1 crore by September 30 in the registry of this court. Also work out how much needs to be paid up to the homebuyers,” the court said in its order.
