With Area Functions commands, you can Represent Area in Multiple Area Units, Create Area Table by selecting Lot Numbers and Derive Area by drawing a line or by referring to the existing line. You can sort Polygons by Area, and Scale Polygon from Centroid. You can also derive the Area Table from Multiple Polygons.

Hello everyone, in this series of video tutorials, you will learn how to use the Land Divisions and Measurements module of ESurvey Civil Tools Software.
Welcome to the video tutorial about How to use Area Division Functions in the Land Divisions and Measurements Software.
With a set of Area Division commands, you can Divide a Polygon by Area, Percentage, Number of Divisions. You can also divide a polygon to the required number of divisions by specifying the Angle along which the partitions are created.
In this section, you will learn the function and usage of different area division commands.
• DIVA command :
The DIVA command is used to Create a Sub boundary of a Polygon based on the specified area.
To execute the command,
o Type ‘DIVA’ at the command prompt.
o “Enter the Area to be Marked”
o Select the first point for an angle
o Select the Second point for an angle
o Select Closed Polygon
After executing DIVA command the output drawing will generate a sub polygon of the mentioned area.
• DIVP command :
The DIVP command is used to Create a Sub Boundary of a Polygon based on the specified Percentage value
To execute the command,
o Type ‘DIVP’ at the command prompt.
o “Enter percentage”
o Select the first point for an angle
o Select the Second point for an angle
o Select Closed Polygon
After executing the DIVA command output Drawing will have sub polygons depending on the input given.
• DIVN command :
The DIVN command is used to Create a sub boundary of a Polygon based on the number of divisions
To execute the command,
o Type ‘DIVN’ at the command prompt.
o “Enter the number of divisions”
o Select the first point for an angle
o Select the Second point for an angle
o Select Closed Polygon
After executing the DIVN command, the output Drawing will have multiple sub-boundaries.
• DIVM command :
The DIVM command is used to Create sub boundaries of multiple Polygons to the number of divisions based on the specifying angle
To execute the command,
o Type ‘DIVM’ at the command prompt.
o “Enter the number of divisions”
o Type the Angle and
o Select the Polygons to be Divided
After executing the DIVM command, multiple polygons will be divided into multiple boundaries.
