President of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio says the United Nations is stuck in the past and does not reflect the reality of the 21st century. Julius Maada Bio reiterated Africa's position that there must be 2 permanent members from the African continent on the UN security council.
President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio was speaking during the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The theme of the 78th session of the General Assembly debate, is: "Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all."
