D.C. United won the 100th edition of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup after holding off a furious late surge from Real Salt Lake in Sandy, Utah. Lewis Neal's first half goal was enough to see D.C. United to the win, their third Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup triumph in club history.
