A YouGov poll has shown viewers of the recent leader's debate think Labour's Keir Starmer performed better than Rishi Sunak.
Former adviser to Tony Blair, John McTernan says people got to see “who the real Keir Starmer is”.
He adds: "I think you got the sense of the straightforwardness and the levelling with people, which is fundamental in Keir's approach."
Talk's Kevin O'Sullivan criticises Keir Starmer for “not giving straight answers” to a few questions.
"I know that in the end it won't change the dial, and doesn't amount to a hill of beans, but you would concede he was VERY evasive."
