A year ago today I met my father for the first time in 20 years. As a kid and adult I’ve dealt with a lot of self worth issues and depression, but I am truly thankful for these hardships that have shaped who I am today. It’s how you deal with these experiences that shapes you. I filmed this in hopes to inspire parents that are disconnected from their children to reconnect and to show kids with less than ideal situations that you can have an incredible, fulfilled life full of love and success if you can make the right choices and learn from other people's mistakes. No matter the circumstances you were given, you have the ability to be an incredible human-being with immeasurable worth. I’m honestly extremely self conscious about sharing this but if it helps one person, it’s worth it.
