Well it took forever but my EP album is finally out - KEYGEN music - for all you 8-bit dorks!

This album contains music made for the subculture of pure 8-bit which were used in software used to crack software - the programs, called keygenerators, would generate a random key for a cracked software so that you could use the software without paying - the keygenerator software would often have one of these songs playing inside of it - usually made in programs called trackers, the same trackers that the original commodore 64 music and their amiga ilk were created in - this led to a very authentic sound.

I only made one of mine on the album in a tracker - vortex of death, the rest were made in more modern software. I actually made my keygen songs to represent milestones in my music making career - 150th song, 300th song, etc. The last song on the album was heavily damaged and thus is of much lower quality than the rest - but instead of scrapping it I fixed it as best I could, but could only go so far. The first song on the album was newly made and you can see the quality difference as it goes farther back in time as you go deeper into the album.

For the album art I wanted something quirky but colourful and basic enough to give that 8-bit vibe. I make all my album covers myself.
