Jose Luis Cordeiro is a renowned futurist, economist, and transhumanist. Cordeiro is at the forefront of artificial intelligence, #longevity research, and space exploration. He is an MIT alumnus and a founding faculty member of the Singularity University. He is also the Director of the Millennium Project, and a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science.

José studied engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA, economics at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, management at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and science at Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela.
He is a leading expert on technological change, future trends and economic forecasting. He has published more than 10 books in 5 languages, including his current bestseller "La muerte de la muerte" in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian, Chinese and Turkish.
José has appeared in programs with the BBC, CNN, Discovery Channel, History Channel and National Geographic, among many other international media interviews.
Is a member of the Sigma Xi (ΣΞ) and Tau Beta Pi (ТΒΠ) honor societies, and has received several prizes, including the Spanish Health Award by Instituto Europeo for promoting research on longevity and life extension. He has been Spanish candidate to the European Parliament.
