How to layer wax seal colors in a spoon. This is a technique that I learned from Kathryn Hastings ([ Ссылка ]) and it’s super fun!
What you’ll need:
Melting spoon and holder
At least two colors of sealing wax in glue guns (ideally a light and dark color)
1️⃣ First light your candle and warm up your spoon.
2️⃣ Pour the first color (can be dark or light) into the spoon
3️⃣ Then pour the second color into the spoon. You can move the glue gun around so that it makes a circle shape.
4️⃣ Continuing pouring alternating colors. You can do this as little as three times or as many as you’d like.
5️⃣ Then pour and press your seal.
The most important thing I’ve noticed as I’ve been playing with this technique is that having contrasting colors makes all the difference. The more contrasting the colors can be the better your results will be in the end seal.
