The discussion on seamless government centers around the various steps in between a completely paper-based bureaucracy and a totally digitalized, automated and efficient government offering great public services. Although the standards of top public service experiences vary with the evolution of technology, it is interesting to study the path to digitalization and seamlessness – the ultimate experience when it comes to public services. In the discussion, experts examine the various steps in digitalization and user experience of public services, while also discussing how to get there: can you skip some steps? Is there an ideal experience that everyone should strive for?
