(7 Jul 2018) CZECH ENTHUSIASTS PARADE THEIR BIKES ON 115TH ANNIVERSARY OF HARLEY-DAVIDSON BRAND
Some 4,000 bikers on Harley-Davidson motorcycles participated in a parade in the Czech capital on Saturday, to celebrate the 115th anniversary of the iconic US brand.
The four-day gathering in Prague is the only event of its kind outside the US this year, and has attracted some 60,000 bikers from over 70 countries, according to organisers.
It takes place amid tensions between the Milwaukee-based company and Donald Trump after the US President's trade dispute with the European Union.
Harley-Davidson drew Trump's wrath last month after the manufacturer announced it's moving production of motorcycles sold in Europe to facilities outside the US.
The company blamed the decision on levies imposed by the European Union to retaliate for tariffs Trump imposed on a host of EU products.
