Malappuram: Close on the heels of the Excise officials seizing drugs worth Rs 30 crore in the market from two persons in Kochi on Saturday, police have recovered drugs worth Rs 7 crore from two places in Malappuram district on Sunday. While Ketamine worth Rs 6 crore was seized from Areekode, Brown Sugar worth Rs 1 crore in the market was recovered from Manjeri. Police have nabbed 10 persons who were involved in the drug trafficking. Excise officials had arrested two persons at Nedumbassery the other day after drugs worth Rs 30 crore were found in their possession.
