Composed of a wide range of audiovisual materials by GABRIELA members all over Europe, this video was launched in global solidarity with all of the women* for the ONE BILLION RISING DAY on February 14, 2021.

This year, despite the conditions of the pandemic, we of GABRIELA Europe still dance, rise and strike to end all forms of violence against women* (including cisgender, transgender, queers, and those who hold fluid identities). We demand justice for all the survivors of misogynist violence and continue to fight against the system that enables and perpetrates it!

A large number of women* around the world, estimated to be one in three (1 in 3) experience beatings, harassment and even rape. These forms of violence happen in various areas of the society, whether at work, at home, at school, in the community, even on the streets and on social media - the so-called Electronic Violence Against Women (EVAW). The women* subjected to gender-based violence do not have a single identity, varying in age, education, and type of origin. Survivors often face impunity and injustice.
