CORONADO - July Fourth Parade. KUSI TV's popular weekend morning anchor, Brandi Williams, rode with the Coronado Brewing Company's beer truck in this year's parade. The Model T ran hot, but the parade was a huge success, made more so by the presence of Brandi Williams. One of those spontaneous Kodak Moments took place when, while half way through the parade, Brandi spotted a large dog struggling with the heat. She jumped out of the Model T, grabbed a bottle of water from the ice chest, and hand fed the dog the entire bottle. As she climbed back into the Model T, 50 or so parade watchers stood and applauded her. You can't orchestrate moments like that. Believe me, as a PR man, I'd sure like to. Thank you Brandi, for your overwhelming kindness to all dogs and old Model T drivers. This was a very special day for all of us, and on behalf of the Coronado Brewing Company, thank you for your generosity and friendship.
