In recent years there have been increasing calls on the EU to act more geopolitically in its Eastern neighbourhood. What policy changes do the EU and its member states need to envisage if the EU is to act more geopolitically and increase its influence in the Eastern neighbourhood? Is the Eastern Partnership a good vehicle for developing such new policies? What other policy channels could be used for that? What are the possible risks and costs associated with a more ambitious EU?
