Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Karnataka CM Basavaraj S Bommai spoke over the phone discussing prevailing tension along joined border areas of their states. Fadnavis expressed his strong displeasure over the protests which turned violent in Hirebagwadi near Belagavi. Karnataka CM assured security of all buses coming from Maharashtra.
