From tomorrow, 158 will pass to Arriva London. Man I’m gunna miss this route’s SLN operation. I do use this route a lot and it’s sad to see it go :( so I decided to take the time today and record it! Tomorrow Arriva is taking over the route with existing DWs and VLWs. 123 will also be moving to Tottenham at the same time. This route is also the last route to be under ALX400 allocation. As I said as this is WH’s last route that is allocated ALX400s. WH May withdraw most if not all the ALX400s from public service.
Route 158 is operated by Stagecoach London from West Ham (WH) garage, running between Stratford - Chingford Mount via Leyton, Blackhorse Road, Walthamstow Central, Leyton, Grange Park Road, St James Street and occasionally Walthamstow, Crooked Billet using ALX400 Bodied Dennis Tridents 9.9m and 10.5m and Alexander Dennis Enviro400 E40D 10.2m. Tomorrow, This route will also be passing to Arriva London operating from Edmonton (EC) garage with existing VDL DB300 10.4m (DW) and Volvo Wright bodied Gemini 2 10.4m B9TL (VLW) sourced from route 123 on the 2nd March 2019.
