PSU is used in many ways: Medical instrument components, Manifolds, Medical trays, Autoclavable instruments and trays
Other industries use it for connectors, coil bodies, high frequency insulators, lamp sockets, protection caps and antenna sockets, in Automotive Oil level indicators, Valve spools, flanges, tubes, pump cases and inspection windows
WHAT KIND OF MACHINE DO YOU NEED TO PRINT THIS FILAMENT
Print Temperature: 360-375C
Bed Temperature: 120-140C - for adhesive, our Nano Polymer Adhesive works great! [ Ссылка ]
Chamber Temperature: HEATED highly recommended
Drying: yes, you MUST dry this filament. Like almost every thermoplastic, this does need to be dried thoroughly before processing, which is the fancy word for melting.
If you REALLY want to dry your filament well, we’ve got an entire kit available on our site, with vacuum chambers and ovens --from our shop to yours, we’re here to make this whole process easy. We also made METAL spools, so you don’t have to worry about melting or warping your spool when drying fast, at higher temps.

BASIC MATERIAL SPECS:
Heat Deflect Temp: 172 C
TG: 187 C
It’s an amorphous thermoplastic which can be annealed
For Tensile strength, you get around 52MPa on the ISO 527 standard, but keep in mind the way your part is designed and the orientation at which it’s printed will have a dramatic effect on strength. You’ll lose a certain percentage in the z-axis, depending how the part is printed.

UV: Fair Resistance -- not the greatest, it will see some weathering if you leave it out in the sun
Hydrolytic resistance: Very good, often used in steam and hot water applications in the food industry
Chemically resistant to: Gasoline, though not aviation gasoline, oil & hydrocarbons, Diesel, Petrol, Alcohols, especially Ethyl and butyl alcohol, Acetone.... not recommended for Chrlorine, or Sulfuric acid, but it does well in Hydrochloric acid. Highly resistive, great insulator, with a dielectric constant of 3.18 and dissipation factor of 0.113.
PSU is not certified biocompatible, but it is often used in the food industry for everything from steam environments like coffee makers, to high-temp high-pressure applications, and it can be autoclaved and sterilized in many ways.
