On Wednesday 21st of December, We see the Lithgow Bound Intercity Service, Formed of V sets V2 and V9 passing the long closed Eskbank Station. The V sets are the mainstay of all Blue Mountain line service and have served the line since 1977. They were built by Comeng over a 10 year period and are fitted with Mitsubishi Electrical Equipment. They have been a big success and are due to be replaced in 2019.
