Keeping safe when using the Internet is important for everyone whether we are buying things, emailing people, or chatting on social networks. The Greater Manchester Police cadets have provided some messages of advice to help us all stay safe online.

Cyber Bullying

You don't have to accept online bullying and there are things you can do to deal with it. Social networks have policies about dealing with inappropriate messages and you can block people who harass or abuse you. If someone does threaten you then you can contact the police or take legal advice.
