A one day/night backpacking trip to Cumberland Island National Seashore with ferry from Saint Mary's Georgia. It is a 3.5-mile hike from the Sea Camp Dock to the Stafford Beach Campground. On our second day we visited the Dungeness ruins and saw many wild horses. Hike to Stafford was on the beach and the hike back was on the Parallel Trail in the woods. Both are beautiful but I prefer the woods. With Sandra, Lamar and 3 of our 4 grandsons, Drew & Alex are 16 and Maxwell is 8.
