Passenger Rear Seat Entry (CrossCabriolet Models Only)

There are several ways to achieve entry and exit for backseat passengers. From outside the vehicle on the driver's side, use these switches on the side of the driver's seatback to slide the seat forward and fold the seatback forward.

To accommodate entry from outside the vehicle on the passenger's side, push the Front Passenger's Seatback switch and the seat position will unlock. Then slide the seat forward. The Remote Release switch on the instrument panel can also be used to unlock the front passenger's seat position.

To slide the front passenger's seat back into position, push the bottom half of the seatback until it locks. Then pull the seatback lever up to adjust the seatback. Release the lever to lock the seatback into position.

If you are a backseat passenger and you need to exit the vehicle, pull this strap on the back of the driver's seat. The driver's seatback will tilt forward, making it easier for backseat passengers to exit the vehicle. Be sure the seat is upright and locked in place before driving.
