Here is an exercise progression for a patient who underwent a right knee lateral meniscus transplant 10 months ago. His surgical history includes a left anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACL-R) with meniscus repair, right ACL-R with meniscus repair, and another right knee meniscus repair.
This video captures him performing a series of exercise progressions on the Shuttle balance. Level one is feet at waist width, level two is progressed to tandem stance, and level three is progressed to single-leg stance.
It is essential to improve his dynamic knee stability to maximize his functional independence.
As always — train both legs!
Effective and efficient rehab is criterion-based, not time-based.

Always consult your physician before beginning any exercise program. STOP exercising if you experience any symptoms of weakness, unsteadiness, light-headedness/dizziness, chest pain or pressure, nausea, or shortness of breath.
Performing these exercises should not cause pain. If you experience pain while exercising, decrease the speed of your movement. If the pain persists - STOP. Mild soreness after exercising may be experienced after beginning a new exercise.
