Let it Rock is the opening track to the bands most successful album Slippery When Wet. This album set the standard for American Hard Rock bands to move to Vancouver and record with Bob Rock and Bruce Fairburn at Little Mountain Sound Studios. It spawned monster hits including You Give Love a Bad Name, Wanted Dead or Alive and Living' on a Prayer.

The guitar style of Ritchie Sambora on this album is very bombastic. his solos tend to be very short but straight to the point. Even though he loves the flashy stuff, his solos always have an under pad of blues and melodicism that make his leads blend into the overall song perfectly
