Long Ryders’ bassist / archivist Tom Stevens assembled live Long Ryders footage plus additional stock of ex-Byrd Gene Clark for the gorgeous “Ivory Tower," written by original Long Ryders' bassist Barry Shank. Clark is on backing vocals of the studio version, and would occasionally offer a live reprise with the band to the delight of their audience.
First appearing on Native Sons in 1984, it re-appears as Track #7 on Disc 1 of Final Wild Songs.
