Rishi Sunak held a meeting with police chiefs in Downing Street on Wednesday to discuss ways to shut down intimidating protests and protect democracy in the UK.
Chancellor Sunak has raised concerns about the increasingly violent and intimidation that is hindering MPs from carrying out their duties.
Former Defence Minister Sir Gerald Howarth says if members of Parliament are 'intimidated, it should be a concern for the people of Britain'.
