This is the PNR Sleeper Executive Train in a practice run going to Naga City, Camarines Sur. An advance Explorer Train (DEL 917) is ahead of the SleepEx by approximately 3 hours to check the condition of the rails if safe and cleared to pass.
The Sleeper Coaches were donated by the East Japan Railways Company following the demise of the Hokuriku Sleeper Train service last March 13, 2010.
