Security has been stepped up at the Busia border after police officers obtained a video that was reportedly filmed by insurgents of the Somali militant group Al-Shabaab, threatening to carry out an attack on Uganda. Police in the eastern district have heightened the security by employing sniffer dogs to check travellers crossing into the country.
