I changed the wedge/blade type incandescent bulbs that were something like 14 watts each to 1 watt LED bulbs...that ended up being terrible with little light and almost a greenish hue.
So I bought G4 bases from Amazon, pulled the entire light fixture off and rewired it with G4 compatible bases.

The G4 bulbs are 2 watts each, but boy do they put out some good light!

Also, it doesn't matter which side is +/- because the bulbs themselves fit either direction...if it's backward, no light...take it out and flip it 180° and there ya go!
