Today I’m going to show you a 15-second hack you can use to make your corn cob pipe smoke better -

Just use a filter.

Missouri Meerschaum Corn Cob Pipes that take a filter have a very open airway when you remove the filter. This open draw will make the pipe smoke hotter than it otherwise should. Simply installing a filter will restrict the airflow to the correct amount. It is how they were designed to be used. There are other options that you can use too, like Forever Stems which have a standard airway. Or you can try packing the pipe tighter. I typically prefer non-filtered pipes, but with these cobs, the filters make them smoke so much better.
