As its name implies, the Classics collection honours the traditional side of Swiss watchmaking while retaining a younger clientele. Despite being only 35 years old, Frederique Constant has made significant progress in a market that is extremely competitive. The uncomplicated name of Tourbillon Manufacture captures the strategy Frederique Constant used to create this watch: they simply crafted a timepiece that encapsulates the pinnacle of their entire journey to date. The case's 39mm 18k rose gold diameter, softly sloping bezel, and polished finish give it a liquid-like appearance as the foundation. The elegant extension of the lugs avoids overshadowing the main element, which could have happened far too easily.

A fantastic dress watch with a touch of elegance, the dial is about as straightforward as they come. The attached rose gold hour markers and alpha hands warm up the brushed anthracite grey dial, which shifts between black and silver depending on the light. The capped centre pinion, a feature that is considered unusual even on haute horology pieces, is difficult to reach through the large gaping tourbillon cage at the dial's base, removing the bottom three hour markers totally.
