LSU/LBRN BIOMMED Virtual Summer Training Programs are designed to address the pressing needs of students, faculty, and researchers to deal with growing amounts of high throughput data generated in life sciences. With a focus on accessibility, hands-on practice, and project-driven design, these training modules will help you get started and grow in biomedical informatics, bioinformatics & related -omics fields.
During this webinar, we presented the upcoming training programs offered by the National Association of IDeA Principal Investigators (NAIPI), the Louisiana Biomedical Research network (LBRN) and Pine Biotech on bioinformatics. ([ Ссылка ])
3 programs will start in June 2022:
1)Bioinformatics for Infectious Diseases (Genomics and Transcriptomic data analysis to study viral and bacterial pathogens as well as host immune responses)
2) Transcriptomic Data Analysis (for chronic diseases - cancer, metabolic, etc.)
3) Bioinformatics using R and Python (getting started with sequence and structured data analysis in R or Python)
