I was recently challenged to create a short video on my car around the 2-minute mark. It's hard to put into words just how big an impact vehicles have had on my life. I'm not going to lie, I'm living in the past and feel basically out of touch with the inexorable march towards a life dictated by technology and efficiency. I had two requirements for my third car, it had to be no newer than 1999 and it had to be a car I could use daily for work. I landed on the W124 and I honestly feel that I could not have selected a more appropriate vehicle, it's already opened doors that I could only have dreamed of.

So really this video is a tribute to everyone who sticks to their guns and keeps these old girls on the road, it's mighty important work after all.
