Security cameras caught the moment a lithium-ion battery exploded inside a hostel room in Sydney causing minor burns to a French tourist.
The tourists were captured running out of the room immediately before the explosion occurred and flames engulfed the doorway.
According to Fire and Rescue New South Wales, a faulty e-bike battery left on charge is suspected to have caused the incident.
