This shrimp lure catches some studs in some tiny South Carolina Creeks. Fishing for big redfish in skinny water is both stressful and exciting. These big red drum are looking for any sort of forage they can find, so a shrimp lure or fly almost always can entice a bite. Using a drone I was able to catch some amazing aerial footage of these foraging fish.

During high tides, certain areas "flood" which creates the opportunity to fish a flood tide. Flood tide Redfish are seen tailing, and feeding due to the skinny water. As the tide drops, redfish will enter the surrounding creeks eventually corralling themselves into the deep holes within the tiny creeks. Once found fishermen are able to catch multiple reds from the school.

Fishing in the South Carolina Low Country has piqued so many new challenges, and taught me so much.
