Twitter is threatening to sue Meta, Facebook and Instagram's parent company, over its new app Threads -- the so-called Twitter-killer app. According to an official warning letter obtained by Semafor, Twitter claims that Meta violated intellectual property rights by poaching former Twitter engineers to build its new microblogging platform. Meta denies these allegations and states no one on the Threads engineering team is a former Twitter employee. Twitter owner Elon Musk also accuses Meta of cheating.
