Country Funk's Phoebe (Mourning Pink) appeared on COUNTRY FUNK's debut 1970 album. Sung by Hal Paris this beautiful and fragile track deserves far greater recognition. Richard Morton Jack's new magazine FLASHBACK recently described the song as a "lovely ballad".
