This interactive session will start with a brief introduction regarding the ASB Early Career Faculty Affinity Group, which is working to provide professional development and peer support to early career biomechanics faculty throughout the year. We will then set the stage for the remainder of the session by discussing tips and tricks for navigating a faculty career. After those remarks, we will facilitate small group discussion through breakout rooms. Senior ASB members will serve as facilitators and discussion leaders in these breakout rooms on a range of topics spanning mentoring, research and collaboration, teaching, and lab management.
