Rep. Joe Alfieri, R-Coeur d’Alene, introduced a bill Thursday that would limit who is eligible to vote absentee in Idaho. Voters would not be able to request an absentee ballot unless they meet specific requirements, including being disabled or hospitalized, unable to vote in person because of work, or being out of town for university or military service. Being on vacation would not qualify.
