The ANC in Parliament says it stands by the recommendation for Inspector General of Intelligence. This despite the fact that many opposition parties say they will not vote for Cecil Burgess who has been nominated for the post. A two-thirds majority is needed in the National Assembly, agreeing to Burgess's nomination.
