But now... time to woodshed. 🪓🪓 Spruce Effects has had a prolific year so far, and the rollout of their new Classic Series continues with The Arborist overdrive (link in bio). Perched next to their fuzz-drive-stortion-esque Gale, The Arborist has all the attack and sizzle you could want to make your notes sting and cut through anything, but plenty of sustain and low end oomph for excellent body when playing with single coils. The Tone acts as a High Cut, rounding treble off as you go clockwise. There's also a Fat switch for removing excess low end when playing with darker guitars or amps, or at gig volume (What's a gig?). Here it is with the Milkman The Amp 100 clean channel and 2x12 Jupiter Alnico Milkman cab, Nash s63 and Lollar pickups. It's only approaching August, I wonder what else Spruce has planned for this year...
