Transducer extraction tool:
1. Screw on the tool.
2. Open the valve.
3. Screw in the extractor; screw out to remove the transducer.
4. Close the valve.
5. Screw off the transducer grabber, leaving the bottom valve pod in place.
Fitting a new transducer is the reverse of this process.
But obviously to ensure no gas escapes, the extraction tool has to be a precision built, extremely sturdy sturdy instrument.
